Uganda: Museveni appoints ex-spy chief Gen Kandiho as senior presidential advisor, removes army officers from Police top command
Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, who also doubles as the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, has appointed Maj. Gen. Abel Kandiho as his senior advisor.
The President made a moving reshuffle on Friday.
In the reshuffle, AIGP Rtd. Abbas Byakagaba was appointed as the Inspector General of Police. He will be deputized by AIGP James Ocaya.
