In his bombshell interview with eNCA, the former Eskom CEO Andre de Ruyter said at least four organised crime cartels in Mpumalanga are crippling the power utility. They are reportedly well-organised and have adopted language associated with the mafia. The cartels also have a “murder squad” under their command.
