Early this month, the Somali Cabinet announced the appointment of Abdullahi Mohamed Ali, also known as Sanbalolshe, as the new Director of the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA), replacing Mahad Mohamed Salad. Sanbalolshe, a member of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, brings extensive experience in the security sector to his new role.
