Arrest of Iranian spy in Indonesia last year prompts Thailand to be on alert for more spies from Tehran
Last year on May 27th, Indonesia’s counter-intelligence agency arrested an Iranian national at the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, just before departing for Qatar. It was Ghassem Saberi Gilchalan, sentenced to 2 years in prison for espionage, used a fake passport, had 11 mobile phones, large number of SIM cards and large amounts of cash.
